Presidents Note:

On September 11th, we had our first General PTO meeting.  We were joined by Central Office Administration and key School Personnel.  Before the meeting started we took a quick moment of silence, to remember those from the tragedy 17 years ago.  Our next General PTO meeting is Tuesday, October 2nd.  We will be meeting at 10 am, in the Cafeteria.  After PTO business, we will be getting a quick tour of the newly renovated Cafeteria and a tasting from Charwell's, the school's food service.  You don't want to miss it.

Back-To-School Night is Thursday, September 20th and Photo Day is Friday, September 21st.  More information will be provided from the school.

Have a great week,

Tammy Roberts

National Alliance on Mental Illness

School is back in session and for many children, so is the academic and social stress that can cause behavioral changes. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Child and Adolescent Network (CAN) is a Support   Group for parents of children with behavioral, emotional and mental  health issues. The meeting is free, confidential, safe and led by trained volunteer facilitators who themselves have had personal
experiences raising children with these concerns. Our meetings are a place to speak freely and be understood without embarrassment or the fear of being judged or treated differently. Parents come from Redding,
Weston, Westport, Wilton and towns in the surrounding area. Our next meetings are Mondays September 17 and October 22, from 10-11:30, G&B Cultural Center, 49 New Street, Wilton.  Information: Beth at 203-984-0123 or beth44es@gmail.com OR Vanessa at  203 970-4130 or eliasvanessa5@gmail.com
